Susan is responsible for developing and overseeing BoardSource’s fundraising and direct sales strategies and engaging foundations, corporations, and nonprofit organizations in support of BoardSource’s mission.

Vernetta Walker, BoardSource’s chief governance officer, presented a session on the Stand for Your Mission campaign at Nonprofit Works 2016. The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida presented the first-ever Nonprofit Works conference on June 28 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Vernetta’s session, “Stand for Your Mission: A Board Member’s Guide to Advocating,” emphasized the importance of board members using their voices to advocate.
