In this rapidly evolving environment, the board needs to provide steady and adaptive leadership in partnership with the CEO. BoardSource is committed to supporting board and staff leaders during this trying time. To do so, we have compiled some of the most common questions we've seen in our community with answers and accompanying resources from our Ask-an-Expert team. Additionally, our latest blog post outlines what nonprofit boards should be thinking about and working to address during these trying times.   Virtual Board Meetings With most of the country practicing social distancing, many nonprofits are unable to continue with previously scheduled in-person board meetings. But that doesn't mean that the board shouldn't be meeting at all. In a challenging and rapidly changing environment, effective board meetings take on even more importance. While they are unique to each organization, nonprofit bylaws generally have a similar structure and use.
